The boisterous, abstract club pressure of SYYMSTRESS's new single, ‘Ryde Out’ — a drum workout fusing classic dancehall rhythms with harsh, industrial textures and fizzing FX — is laced by the muffled, spoken-word lyricism of Yayoyanoh, granting the track an away-from-the-club charm.

Having worked on original material and a slew of head-scratching club edits throughout 2016, as well as guesting regularly on NTS Live, the experimental tones that underpin ‘Ryde Out’ are no surprise, but still point to SYYMSTRESS’ willingness to explore new and fascinating spaces.
